I'm not exactly shocked that
It seems only yesterday that we were being introduced to wireless controllers with rumble packs and DLC through multiple wireless access points. Now we have a new toy in the works-- the Emotiv EPOC headset.
Its like a scene out of a story, father and son bonding over a little football. But in this case, son is playing the new Madden and father is Marshall Faulk. An AP article talks about how football influenced todays NFL players and continues influencing a new generation. A couple of the previous Madden cover holders like Vince Young and Ray Lewis talk about how much of an honor it was to be on the cover. And before you say anything, the players do downplay the 'curse' associated with this honor.
Glancing at the NY Times bestseller list, it would be hard to miss the number one spot. It appears that the hype for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed is leaking into the print realm as well; the book of same said title hit the top for hardcover sales.
Here's a new twist for the Spore lore. For a new marketing approach, EA invited some celebrities to create their own Spore creations.
Personally? I like the Smashing Pumpkins. I think Billy Corgan is a bit eccentric, but the music is pretty darn good. So when I first read that there was another Guitar Hero already, I thought 'really?'; then I saw that the Pumpkins were going release a new single exclusively for the game. Now I'm thinking, "how cool would it be to rock out Smashing Pumpkins in Battle of the Bands mode as Corgan?!".

Very interesting news. According to a screen digest report (via wiifanboy), the Wii has more exclusive original games than the 360 and the PS3. There are a few reasons given on why, but the main one that I agree with is the cost factor. Yeah, maybe it isn't as pretty as the PS3, but it is a heck of a lot cheaper; that means easier for those third party/independent developers to get their virtual foot in the door.
